Get started on how to use Fieldactive with the ‘Getting Started Guide’
GETTING STARTED WITH FIELDACTIVE
To create your account, sign up and select your plan.
- Sign up with Fieldactive:
To sign up, go to www.fieldactive.com and click “Sign up FREE”. Here you can enter the following details:
- Full name
- Company name
- Designation – optional
- Email address
- Confirm Password and click on “Sign Up”
- On the Home page, Create a New Project
On the home page, click on “New Project” and create a new project by entering following details, then click create project.
- Project name,
- Project Number, and client name (optional).
- Log in
Go to app.fieldactive.com and Login with your email and password.
You can also login from the main website of Fieldactive by clicking on Log in on top right of the page.
CREATING, EDITING OR DELETING PROJECT
- Create a New Project
On the home screen, click on “New Project” and add the below details.Then click on ‘Create project’ button.
- Project name,
- Project Number, and client name (optional)
- Edit Project Settings
Go to the project and click on Project Settings. Enter the updated details and click on ‘Update project’.
- Delete a Project
To delete a Project, on the web app, go to the project and click on edit project setting. This will open project details with a link to delete project. Click the link to delete the project.
Note: You can edit a project settings only from Website app. You cannot edit or delete project from mobile app.
UPLOAD COMPANY LOGO AND DETAILS
On the Home screen, you will find an option to ‘Upload Logo here’.
There you can add company logo, and add company location or address. The logo should be uploaded as an image file. You may edit or change the logo in future if required.
On the home screen, click a project which opens major sections of the Project including Daily reporting, Timesheet, Punchlist and Task List.
Daily Reporting includes log type such as Work Done, Safety, Notes, QC Inspection and Delays if any.
To create a new Work Log:
- Add descriotion of Log
- Add Type of log
- Add Location
- If required, add any photos to your own private account in Google Drive /Instagram/ Dropbox/ Onedrive/ Box
To add an eSignature:
- After you have added all logs for the day, click on add signature
- Make your signature digitally or type with keypad
In the same way, you may use Time sheet, Punch List, and Task List
USING FIELDACTIVE MOBILE APP:
- An Android app is now available for download on the Google Play store.
- Download and Sign up (if you have already not sone so on website) to create account OR Login if you have already created an account.
To access the Daily Reports, click on ‘Project Reports’ link on the top. To generate a report, select a report type and date from the calendar to run the report. The following reports are available:
- Daily Report
- Timesheet Report
- Punch List Report
Note: You can print the Reports from Webapp/ Laptop/ Browser. You cannot print report from android app. However, you can view the reports from the android app.
EDIT YOUR PROFILE
To make changes to your profile, go to home screen and click on ‘Profile’ menu at the top.
- Click on edit profile to edit or change profile details.
- You can edit profile including name, company, designation and email etc. You can also change your password if required.
RESET YOUR PASSWORD
If you have trouble logging in or have forgotten your password.
- Just click on ‘Forgot Password’ and type your email address registered in Fieldactive.
- You will receive an email with link to reset your password.
